Next Zwift WRTL Community League to start in September 2023.

What is the Zwift Racing League?

In partnership with World Tactical Racing League (WTRL), the Zwift Community Racing League has become the pinnacle of virtual bike racing.

There are 3 racing seasons: September- November; January- March; and April- June; each consisting of eight rounds of racing with a mixture of team time trials and points races. You will be racing once per week on a Tuesday night with the timings of the race depending on your time zone, but normally racing starts at around 8pm CET and last an hour.

Each team has a maximum of 12 riders, with 6 being selected for each race, therefore if you are not able to race every week this will not be a problem. We work on a rotation system, where you will be rotated into the selected 6 riders throughout the season to ensure you get multiple opportunities to race.

The League is a team-based and points-based series, instead of the traditional scratch race-type format that normal Zwift races follow. Points are awarded for sprint and KOM segments throughout each race, with more points on offer at the finish. First across a line points are awarded just once whilst the fastest through a segment points occur at each lap.

Zwift League Categories

To make sure you are placed in the correct team there are 4 categories, so no matter your level we will find the right team to put you in. With such a depth of categories, there is plenty of opportunity to improve as an individual and alongside your team to progress into the category above whilst having, fun with new teammates who you will soon call your closest friends in the virtual world.
