Jeroboam Edition Zero
The Jeroboam is a gravel series across Europe with events in Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and now--new for this year--Spain, hosted at Can Campolier, the home of Rocacorba Cycling, on the 27th of October 2019. Normally headlined by a 300km epic gravel route, the 2019 edition will be limited to the 150km & 75km routes. Since this is a test event for the main attraction in 2020, entry is by invitation only - but we would love to have you so please request an invitation.
The 150km self-guided route starts from Rocacorba Cycling and heads towards the magnificent Costa Brava and the coastal towns of L’Escala and L’Estartit. With 2200m of ascent and a sting in the tail towards the end, the route is challenging but a fantastic full day outing on some of the best gravel roads Girona has to offer.
The 75km self guided route traces the early kilometres of the 150km but remains in the rolling hills of Pla d’Estany. If you’re looking for a challenge that won’t take all day this distance is for you. Medieval towns, forested gravel tracks, steep climbs, and fun descents make for a rewarding gravel outing. Riders face 1500m of ascent in 75km.
